  Have been coming for many years (oh goodness, at least 15 now). This is the quintessential NYC bagel experience and always great - whether I get Sausage Egg and Cheese on Poppy in the morning or Wild Sockeye, Tomato, Onion, and Cream Cheese on Sesame in the afternoon. Only complaint over the years (especially last 4-5 years), is that word has obviously gone out all over the US and abroad and I see huge lines and crowds from Europe, Asia, US, many tourists with luggage and just beyond-capacity crowds. Weekend mornings it is best to avoid the long lines and go weekday mornings or early afternoons to get a solid bagel.
  I do miss sitting by the window in chelsea in a pensive mood and having a matzo ball soup or a bagel sandwich. Place always made me feel better.

  Tasty bagels, probably the best in Chelsea. No wonder the line is always long on the Sunday mornings when I pass by or frequent this place. Great for ordering a large number of bagels and a variety of cream cheeses to-go to share with a party.
