  My all time favorite park in NYC.
  Its still rugged and full of trails for dog walking, running and bike riding.
  I love the peace in these areas, you can walk for 30 min and be totally alone.
  
  In the more public areas are tennis, basketball and handball courts, a baseball field, and a dog park. There's multiple areas to sit by the water, and two play grounds.
  
  Theres also views of both rivers..as you are at the tip of Manhattan. Its a beautiful park with a great history. I encourage everyone to check it out.
